Visitors

Are you thinking of visiting?

We love to welcome visitors, either to our Sunday services or to one of the meetings that we hold during the week.

We meet on Sunday mornings at the local secondary school, and in the evening in our chapel in Gold Street. There is a map showing both of these locations here, and details of our Sunday services are available via the Activities button on the left. Do check, because sometimes we share services with other congregations and these may not be in our usual locations.

Entrance to County High School

There is ample parking at the school (turn left after entering the school grounds), which is some five minutes walk from the town centre. Entry is through double doors at the end of the path to the left of the new music block (the linked octagonal buildings directly ahead as you enter the school grounds). Access to the school is level and it is equipped with wheelchair lifts.

There is normally provision for young people at the Sunday morning service, ranging from a crèche for babies to activities for youngsters up to school year 11. If you would like to know more, then do get in touch via our contact page.

On Sunday evenings it is usually possible to find a parking space either in Gold Street itself or in one of the streets nearby. The chapel is a listed building and its door is one step above street level. However, there should be able-bodied people available to help with any problems this may cause.

During the week

During the week, we hold a range of adult group meetings for prayer, bible study and mutual encouragement. We also share our youth work with the New Life (Assemblies of God) church in Saffron Walden.

The times and locations of these meetings are subject to change, so if you would like to visit any of these activities, do get in touch.
